Under the Cyber Smart Kids in Malawi Initiative, the Centre for Policy and Research on Digital Society (CPRDS) in conjunction with Ladybird Private Schools in Upper Chinyonga, Blantyre, Malawi on 17th March 2024, successfully conducted training for kids on how to use the Internet responsibly and safely. The initiative falls under The Cyber Aware Malawian Digital Citizenship Project being conducted by CPRDS, whose project objective is to promote safe, responsible and legal use of digital technologies amongst Malawians. Facilitating the event was Dr Bennett Kankuzi, Mr Luke Namangale and Mr Blessings Kwaitana and Mr Victor Jaffu. Mr Michael Jimu, the Head Teacher of Ladybird Private school, also graced the event.
